Japan is the third largest e-commerce market and one of the fastest growing in the world. In 2016 the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry announced that this market amounted to $137.6 billion with a stable growth rate of about 10% per year. In 2017, there were an estimated 82.59 million e-commerce users in Japan.
